The Ministry of Government Legislation had a meeting
with the Institute for Legal Strategy and Science of
Vietnam for legislative cooperation

The Ministry of Government Legislation (Minister Cho Won-cheol) announced that the Institute for Legal Strategy and Science of Vietnam visited the Ministry on Tuesday, August 26. The Institute for Legal Strategy and Science, under the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam, develops legal policies and strategies and conducts research on modification of laws and regulations.
The two organizations met with each other to explore ways of establishing cooperation in the fields of legislative administration and research. At the meeting, the Ministry of Government Legislation (MOLEG) introduced its main missions such as reviewing legislative bills, modifying laws and regulations, and providing support for legislation; methods of legislative research to provide support for making laws and deal with major legislative issues; and cases of using digital-based technologies in conducting legislative affairs and providing legal information.
The Institute for Legal Strategy and Science showed its particular interest in cooperation for ensuring legislative development and digital transformation in providing legal information and also requested continued cooperation with the relevant divisions of MOLEG.
"I hope that this meeting serves as a starting point for legislative cooperation between the two organizations," said Director General Choe Young-chan. "MOLEG will strive to strengthen the legislative research capabilities of both organizations and ensure legislative development through the use of digital technologies."
