Korea Public Procurement Expo (KOPPEX) 2026 will be held from March 25 (Wed) to 27 (Fri) at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
Since its inception in 2000, KOPPEX has reached its 26th anniversary this year. As Korea's only specialized public procurement exhibition, it supports market expansion for SMEs, ventures, and innovative companies while providing essential opportunities to enter global markets. Last year, approximately 80 foreign buyers and 388 domestic companies conducted 770 export consultations, achieving export contracts worth 12.76 million dollars.
Under the theme "K-Procurement Changing the World! Innovation On, Go Global, In to the Future," this year's expo will be the largest ever. Approximately 700 innovative companies will showcase their products across 1,100 booths.
In particular, this year's EXPO features a redesigned exhibition layout and upgraded operational systems to enhance both promotional effectiveness and visitor convenience.
First, key attractions such as the PR Hall, Special Exhibition Hall, and Procurement Training Centers have been strategically distributed throughout the hall. This layout is designed to balance foot traffic and encourage visitors to explore the entire exhibition area effectively.
Second, in response to the era of AI Transformation (AX), PPS established a new "AI Special Pavilion" dedicated to AI-driven products and services. This initiative aims to lay the groundwork for generating and expanding AI demand within the public sector.
The AI Special Pavilion showcases approximately 40 AI-related products, including 'Intelligent Patrol Robots' and 'AI Braille Printers.'
Third, PPS extended special invitations to officials from actual purchasing departments, and newly established programs to share the annual procurement plans of major agencies.
Fourth, the 'KOPPEX AWARDS'—presented to companies demonstrating excellent innovation and growth potential—has been extensively revamped.
Departing from the previous format of on-site voting and final-day announcements, PPS has overhauled the 'KOPPEX AWARDS' to prioritize expertise and maximize promotional impact. The selection process now incorporates preliminary evaluations by industry specialists, with winners announced in advance to ensure participating companies gain optimal exposure throughout the event.
In this year's KOPPEX AWARDS, six companies—CODIT, iPixel, Saving Stort, Marketon, Nano Electronics, and Aetech—were selected as excellent companies in fields such as AI, Bio-health, and Construction Safety.
PPS Administrator Baek Seung-bo stated, "KOPPEX is not only a stage to showcase the competitiveness of K-Procurement but also a vital platform where the public and private sectors converge for new opportunities.
"He added, "Through this expo, I sincerely hope that SMEs, ventures, and innovative companies with exceptional technological capabilities will expand into the global market through continuous innovation and growth."
