K-창업 기업… 미국 본토에서 기술력 '최고'입증
한인비즈니스대회 참여, '반프' 경진대회 최종 우승
역대 최대 규모로 열린 제21차 세계한인비즈니스대회 스타트업 피칭대회에서 '반프（BANF)'가 오프라인 부문 최종 우승을 차지했다.
조달청과 중소벤처기업부, 창업진흥원은 조달기업，창업기업과 함께 지난 11일부터 1３일까지 미국 애너하임 컨벤션센터에서 열린 '제21차 세계한인비즈니스대회(한상대회)' 스타트업 피칭대회에 참가했다.
13일(현지시간) 열린 스타트업 피칭대회는 이번 대회에서 가장 주목 받는 행사 중 하나로, 유망 스타트업에 투자 유치 기회를 제공하고 미국 진출 발판을 마련한다는 취지로 기획됐다.
대회에 앞서 주최 측이 지난 9월 K글로벌 500 플랫폼을 출시한 지 2주 만에 320여 개 회사가 신청 등록을 하며 뜨거운 열기를 보였다. 이 가운데 총 18개 회사가 2개 그룹(온·오프라인)으로 나뉘어 결선에 진출했다.
조달청과 중소벤처기업부, 창업진흥원의 체계적인 지원을 받은 반프는 예선과 본선을 거쳐 최종 10개 기업이 치르는 결선에 진출해 최고의 자리인 대상을 수상하며 우승 증서와 함께 상금 1만 5천불을 받게 됐다.
반프는 차량과 도로의 유일한 접지면인 타이어의 내부 감지장치에서 수집되는 정보를 실시간으로 분석하는 기술을 통해 타이어 이상 여부, 도로 노면 상태 등의 다양한 정보를 향후 자율주행시대의 핵심가치인 차량의 안전성과 경제성 향상을 위한 해결책으로 제공하는 기술을 개발했다.
김윤상 조달청장은 "이번 경진대회 우승은 우수한 기술력을 갖춘 기업을 정부가 지원한 좋은 사례였다"면서 "앞으로도 기술력이 검증된 기업들이 해외 시장 진출과 판로를 확보할 수 있도록 지속적으로, 적극적으로 지원해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

'BANF', a government-supported participant, won the startup competition at the 21st World Korean Business Convention
'BANF' won the offline category of the Startup Pitching Competition at the 21st World Korean Business Convention.
The Public Procurement Service(PPS), the Ministry of SMEs and Startups(MSS), and Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development(KISED), along with procurement companies and startups, participated in the 21st World Korean Business Convention Startup Pitching Competition held at the Anaheim Convention Center in the United States from October 11 to 13.
The Startup Pitching Competition, which was held on the 13th (local time), is one of the most high-profile events of the convention and was designed to give promising startups a chance to attract investment and gain a foothold in the United States.
Prior to the competition, the organizers received over 320 applications within two weeks of launching the K Global 500 platform in September. A total of 18 companies were selected as finalists in two groups (online and offline).
With systematic support from the PPS, the MSS, and KISED, 'BANF' advanced to the final round of 10 companies through the preliminary and main rounds, and won the top prize, the grand prize, and a $15,000 cash prize.
Through a technology that analyzes information collected from the internal sensors of tires, which are the only contact surface between vehicles and the road, in real time, 'BANF' has developed a technology that provides various information such as tire abnormalities and road surface conditions as a solution to improve vehicle safety and economy, which are core values in the future autonomous driving era.
Kim Yoonsang, Administration of the PPS, said, "Winning the contest was a good example of the government's support for companies with excellent technology." "We will continue to actively support companies with proven technology to enter overseas markets and secure sales."
